Spring is slowly making its way into the Bluegrass, but here at the office we’re infected with the fever! Today we received the advances of Maggie Green‘s Kentucky Fresh Cookbook from the printer, and let me tell you we’re ready for a spring cookout! The Kentucky Fresh Cookbook is hitting bookshelves soon (we’ll let you know when) but until then, here’s a quick sampling of some of the BEAUTIFUL cover and interior artwork by the always creative Cricket Press!

What a great concept to celebrate the year and a love of food. The illustrations remind me of the Moosewood family of cookbooks — simple, clean, and inviting. I look forward to purchasing the book and hope that you’ll make a visit to the Lexington area for an author event and/or signing. Best wishes!
