Daily Notes: Wednesday, May 19

  • Today was a great day for us to be a part of the University of Kentucky as it was Staff Appreciation Day! UPK was there with some of our more recent bestselling titles, and registering staff members to win a copy of The Kentucky Bourbon Cookbook. A big thanks to all of our fans and readers who stopped by! I will be posting the winner of the cookbook tomorrow or Friday as soon as we can get all the name organized. If you’re a part of the UK community, the UK Staff Senate is also hosting family fun night tonight at Commonwealth Stadium. There will be lots of fun things to do and see!
  • For those of you unable to visit us at all these great places, UPK will be hosting a warehouse sale next month! I will keep you posted on all the details as I get them.
  • If any of you are going to be at Book Expo America next week, keep an eye out for John, our marketing and sales director. He will be hanging around the booths talking about UPK!
  • And speaking of John, you can now follow him on Twitter @kybookmarketer! As always, you can continue to receive updates @kentuckypress and our Facebook as well.
